Recruitment
Spring recruitment this year will be the week of April 19 to April 23.
The incentive for the boys is St. Louis Cardinal tickets. For any
information on the tickets and other information, contact Joe Potts at

Kudos
It was a beautiful evening at the Harper Chapel for the 2004 Kinderhook
District Dinner. It was the perfect evening as the Scouts and Scouters
arrived for the 6:30 dinner. They were greeted at the door by Order of
the Arrow member Ben Oetterer, as they entered the banquet. The dinner
was start with a prayer from Deacon Towey, as all the Scouts and Scouters
filled their plates with their favorite foods.
The recognition began with a few words from District Chairman Sheriff
John Page and was followed with a speech from guest speaker Lee Taylor.
As the Scouters were recognized with training awards, knot recognition
and appreciation certificates the evening was coming to a close, as John
Buckingham gave a few word on District Award of Merit recipient
Sandy Oetterer.
I
would like to thank everyone that took part in putting the district
dinner together and would like to say great job on the best district
dinner of the entire council. Thanks to the hard work of Sandy Oetterer,
Ben Oetterer, Helen Gross, Jim Jenkins and Kathy Jenkins. Thank You!
District Pinewood Derby
The District Derby will be
at the Upper Elementary in Eldon on April 17. Check in will be at
9:30
a.m.
racing will start at 10
a.m.
so don’t be late. The rules and regulations for the derby cars
have been email to all cubmasters
so make sure to follow the rules. If you haven’t received the
information, or want to get more information,

Looking For Unit Commissioner
Help the unit in your district succeed! Become a member on the district
committee and help the involvement of Scouts. Looking forward to anyone
that wants to be a unit commissioner. If you have any interest for this
