FOS

We need to plan our Family Friends of Scouting presentations. The District FOS chairman or a representative will be calling to schedule a meeting time. The Family Friends of Scouting helps many activities within the Five Rivers District, such as day camp, for Cub Scouts and summer camp for the Boy Scouts.

Training

If you have five or more new scout leaders wanting to be trained please call Randy Raw. Our District Training Staff will be more than happy to set up a training date for you. Please encourage all parents, den leaders and other adult Scout leaders to set up a time to attend training.

Day Camp

Day Camp will be taking place in the second week of June at the JCC Fairgrounds. The Theme for this year is Discover Native America. The Director of the Camp will be none other than Mike Murphy, the Program Director is Paul Scheppers. With this dynamite team, we will have a great time. We will need some great volunteers to help out with this camp, if you have the urge to volunteer please call Mike Murphy at 573-556-5638.

Membership

April 8 is getting close and we need to confirm dates, times and places for our recruitment night. If you need help with any of planning, please call your commissioners or district committee members. They will be more than happy to help. Let’s make this the best spring recruitment ever. After your meetings on April 8, you can drop the applications off at 1803 Swifts Highway.
