Pinewood Derby
The annual Chariton Valley District Pinewood Derby will be on Friday, April 23 at Central Christian College in Moberly. Check-in and weigh-in will start at 6 p.m. and races will start promptly at 7 p.m. For those interested, concessions will be available at the event.
Day Camp
Start planning to attend the annual Chariton Valley Day Camp that will take place June 16-18 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The theme for this year is “Discover Native America” and will take place at Fox Park located on Russhaven Drive in the southeast section of Moberly.
Golf Tournament
On May 15, the Moberly Country Club will host a golf tournament that will benefit the Chariton Valley “Friends of Scouting,” campaign. More details will follow.
District Dinner
Thank you to all of those in attendance at the annual Chariton Valley district dinner on February 13. The event was a success largely because of the efforts of Beccy Winn, Janna Tayon and others who helped plan and organize the dinner. A special congratulation goes to the recipient of the District Award of Merit: Amealia Drewery.
